This Time, It’s Michael Moore Against Harvey Weinstein

Harvey Weinstein has been facing multiple allegations of sexual abuse from last some time. Recent addition were the filmmaker Michael Moore, TV star Oprah Winfrey and America's Got Talent judge Heidi Klum. Also, The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences has expelled Harvey due to the allegations.

Moore did not stop here as he put a post on Facebook under the title of ‘Use This Moment to Create a World Without Harveys’. He wrote here, "Anyone with a flicker of a conscience or a modicum of decency stands, as I do, with the women who’ve summoned the courage to tell the truth about Harvey Weinstein. But well- meaning platitudes of support for the abused are simply not enough." He further added that this particular moment should be used to eradicate the abuse of women in the industry.

Notably, producer Harvey Weinstein had a contract drawn up where his film company could terminate him over sexual harassment claims as long as he has pays the women himself.  TMZ had reported that the fine to the company was USD 25, 000 for the first payout, USD 50,000 for next, USD 75,000 for the third and USD 1 million for each subsequent one.
