Tim Blake Nelson To Star In 'The True Don Quixote'

Actor Tim Blake Nelson has been roped in to play a lead in 'The True Don Quixote' a modern-day version based on the classic novel by Miguel de Cervantes. Tim will play the titular role in the film which is directed by Chris Poche. Apart from directing, Chris has also written the screenplay.

The movie is based on a lonely man who leads a boring life. His mind is jam-packed with stories of pain and passion until one day he wakes up insane and anointing himself as Don Quixote to find adventure, fame and glory that will make his life interesting. The book ‘Don Quixote’ was published in two parts in 1605 and 1615 and centred on a Spanish man who loses his insanity as he seeks to revive chivalry.

'The True Don Quixote' is being produced by Trey Burvant through Charthouse Films and Jason Waggenspack through his Neutral Ground Films. Apart from Tim Blake Nelson, the film will also feature Jacob Batalon essaying the role of Sancho Panza. The shooting of the movie is going on in full swing in New Orleans.
