Title, First Poster For Fast 8 Revealed

Vin Diesel a.k.a Dominic Toretto has revealed the title for the eighth instalment in the Fast and Furious franchise, along with the first poster. The movie is titled Fast 8 with the tag line ‘New Roads Ahead’. He made the announcement through an Instagram post.

It has been known that Fast 8 will be the first of the final trilogy, which will mark the end of the Fast and Furious franchise that began back in 2001. Other than the fact that New York City will be involved, not much is known about the plot for the film. A spokesperson for Universal Pictures stated, “Universal Pictures is currently in the process of seeking approval from the United States and Cuban governments to explore shooting a portion of the next instalment of the ‘Fast & Furious’ series in Cuba”.

Furious 7 went on to become the sixth highest grossing movie of all time with a total of $1.5 billion. Fast 8 will hit theatres on April 17 next year. It will bring back the cast that has formed a special place in everyone’s heart.
