Tom Cruise Says Jack Reacher: Never Go Back Has ‘A Level Of Unique Brutality’.

Tom Cruise will be reprising his role as the former US military officer Jack Reacher in the upcoming sequel ‘Jack Reacher: Never Go Back’. The movie was premiered in New Orleans where Tom shared some insight about the sequel. He stated that his character brings a level of unique brutality to the project.

“It has a great humour and it also has a level of unique brutality that this character brings”, shared Cruise. He added, “It is part of who he is”. The plot revolves around Jack trying to uncover a conspiracy that involves his former colleague, Major Susan Turner, played by How I Met Your Mother actress Cobie Smulders.

Directed by Edward Zwick, ‘Jack Reacher: Never Go Back’ will hit the screens on October 21. The cast also includes Robert Knepper, Danika Yarosh, Ninja N. Devoe, Aldis Hodge and Holt McCallany. The screenplay has been penned by Richard Wenk, Edward Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz. Like the previous installation, the sequel has also been based on the novel series by Lee Child.
