Actress Janet Carroll, who played the character of Tom Cruise's mum in Risky Business, has passed away, aged 71. She died in New York after a terminal illness on Tuesday, reportedVariety. Carroll made her film debut with Risky Business and went on to do movies like The Killing Time, Destiny Turns on the Radio, Forces of Nature and Enough.
