Tom Ford teams with George Clooney for ‘Nocturnal Animals’

Director and fashion designer Tom Ford is set to team-up with George Clooney for an adaptation of the Austin Wright novel titled Tony and Susan, which will be titled ‘Nocturnal Animals.’ No cast members have been announced just yet.

The film tells the story of a woman named Susan who receives a book manuscript containing two stories from her ex-husband who wants to know her opinion. Clooney will produce the project with Smokehouse Pictures partner Grant Heslov. No release date has been set, as the project is still in the early stages of production. It will mark the first time Ford will step behind the camera since the 2009 film ‘A Single Man.’ Ford received an Independent Spirit award nomination for the screenplay.
