Tom Hanks Showers Praises On La La Land

Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks was recently present at the Telluride Film Festival where he was promoting his film 'Sully'. During a Q & A, the actor interrupted the session to praise the recent Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone starrer ‘La La Land’. He stated that everyone who watches the film should like it.

The Captain Philips actor said, “This is not a movie that falls into some sort of trend. I think it is going to be a test of the broader national audience, because it has none of the things that major studios want”. He added, “Pre-awareness is a big thing they want, which is why a lot of remakes are going on. [’La La Land’] is not a sequel, nobody knows who the characters are... But if the audience doesn’t go and embrace something as wonderful as this then we are all doomed”.

‘La La Land’ is a romantic musical comedy-drama film that has been directed by Damien Chazelle. The film tells the story of a musician and an aspiring actress who fall in love. ‘La La Land’ will hit the screens on December 16 while Tom Hanks’ ‘Sully’ will be released on September 9.
