Tony Musante of Toma dies at 77

American actor Tony Musante known for his role in Toma, died. The actor was 77 at the time of his death and took his last breath in Lenox Hill Hospital. His wife Jane confirmed haemorrhage as the reason of her husband’s death, while he was recovering from an oral surgery.

The actor started his career in 1975 with P.S. Your Cat Is Dead! and gave his contribution in numerous projects. His role of New Jersey detective in 1970s ABC series Toma was never forgotten. His unforgettable ventures include Origins of the Mafia, Eutanasia di un amore, As the World Turns, Ride with Terror and much more. His last flick was We Own the Night in 2007 and after that he didn’t appear on-screen. Along with his wife, Tony left behind two sisters, Cecelia Sisti and Katherine Walker and a brother Thomas.
