Tracy Letts To Star In 'Ford Vs Ferrari' As Henry Ford 2

Pulitzer and Tony Award winner Tracy Letts has bagged a pivotal role James Mangold's 'Ford Vs Ferrari'. Tracy will play Henry Ford 2 in this yet-untitled directorial.  According to the reports, the movie is based on the true story of automotive visionary Carroll Shelby and his British driver Ken Miles.

The two are leading an eccentric and determined team of American engineers and designers.  The movie is also starring Matt Damon as Carroll Shelby and Christian Bale Ken Miles. The team, which is dispatched by Ford Motor Company chief Henry Ford 2 and Lee Lacocca on the Ford GT40 mission, built an automobile that could defeat Ferrari at the 1966 Le Mans world championship.

The project is slated to release on June 28, 2019. Apart from this, bankrolled by Chernin Entertainment, the film will also see 'Outlander' star Caitriona Balfe playing Ken Miles' wife. Moreover, as far as Tracy is concerned, the 53-year-old received the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his play 'August: Osage County'. He also won a Tony Award for the revival of 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?'.
