Trailer For The Big Short Released

Paramount Pictures has released a trailer for the upcoming star studded drama, The Big Short. The movie will focus on a group of individuals who benefit from the global economic meltdown. It is based on a non-fiction book by journalist Michael Lewis who is known for his books Moneyball and Flash Boys.
The trailer reveals the plot of the film and the star studded cast which includes Christian Bale, Brad Pitt, Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling. Several people were able to predict that the credit bubble that sprung up after the financial crisis, would burst and figured out ways to earn profits when it does. Steve Carell, in the trailer says, “The banks got greedy. And, we can profit off their stupidity”.
Directed by Adam McKay, The Big Short will hit theatres on December 25. Along with the above mentioned stars, the cast will include Karen Gillan, Selena Gomez, Marisa Tomei, Melissa Leo, Finn Wittrock and Max Greenfield. The movie will be produced by Dede Gardner and Brad Pitt.
