    Transformers: Age of Extinction, the fourth instalment of the action film series after Transformers: Dark of the Moon, has successfully earned domestic total of USD 174.7 million and a worldwide total of USD 575.6 million till now. The movie directed by Michael Bay was released on June 27 and crossed USD 400 million in just 12 days.

    The movie released with much hype but received mixed reviews. However, in spite of this, the movie was able to make a huge amount of money. The action flick starred Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci in the lead roles. The film is co-produced by Don Murphy, Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Ian Bryce and the screenplay is written by Ehren Kruger. Transformers: Age of Extinction released in Hong Kong on June 19.The film is running successfully even after two weeks of its release and has made 1.37 billion dollars. The film takes place after the invasion of Chicago and features a new cast of human characters.
