Two New Assassin’s Creed Images Released

After playing Steve Jobs and Magneto, Michael Fassbender will now be putting on a hood and sticking to the shadows as he plays Callum Lynch, a descendent of Aguilar, a 15th century Assassin. 20th Century Fox has released 2 new images that show off Michael in both his avatars. The movie is being directed by Justin Kurzel.

Recently, the director spoke with ComingSoon.net and revealed whether the film is connected to the game story line. “It’s all new characters. They’ve all been designed and created from an original story. But the concept of the game and the spirit of the game is there and that is really to do with having access to these memories and the idea of history defining who you are. It’s an origin story, this film, so it’s about a man in the modern day who kind of discover who he is and the fact that his lives lead back years and years and years and generations and generations”, Justin shared.
 

The cast includes Michael K. Williams, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons and Brendan Gleeson. Assassins Creed is based on the video game franchise developed by Ubisoft. The movie will hit the screens on December 21.
