Vinyl Sneak Peek Released

HBO has released a one minute trailer for the upcoming series Vinyl. The 10-episode series got a teaser on Instagram earlier this week. It will be based in the 1970’s and shed light on the decline of rock and roll and rise of punk, disco, and hip-hop.

The trailer shows scenes of rock and roll, drugs, violence, romance, everything one would expect from that era. The story focuses on Richie Finestra, played by Bobby Cannavale, who is a record label president. He is trying to save his company and himself from being flushed down the drain. Olivia Wilde plays the role of Devon Finestra, Richie’s wife.

Created by Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter, Vinyl will be aired in 2016. Along with Bobby and Olivia, the cast includes Ray Romano, Jack Quaid, Max Casella, P.J. Byrne, James Jagger, and Paul Ben-Victor. Terence Winter I also the executive producer for the series.
