War For The Planet Of The Apes Trailer Debuts

The third instalment in the ‘Planet of the Apes’ franchise that started with ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ has got its first official trailer as well as a poster, revealed by 20^th Century Fox. The first film which released in 2011 was directed by Rupert Wyatt while the sequel, as well as the upcoming film, have been dircted by Matt Reeves. 'War for the Planet of the Apes' will have the Apes go on an all out war against the humans.

The trailer shows Woody Harrelson as the supposed antagonist who is trying to end the Apes as he fears that they will take over the planet. Ceaser, the king of the Apes, on the other hand, has no intentions to do so and has offered to live in peace with the humans. The clip shows some intense action sequences and also unveils a new mystery, of a little girl who is with the Apes.

‘War for the Planet of the Apes’ stars Andy Serkis, Steve Zahn, Terry Notary and Karin Konoval, along with Harrelson. Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver have produced the project. The movie will hit the screens on July 14 next year.
