Warrior heads for a remake in Hindi and Tamil

The 2011 projectWarrior is all set for a remake. Yes, the project by Gavin O'Connor will be remade in Tamil and Hindi and will be produced by Hollywood studio. A source confirmed the news saying,"The film, starring Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton and Nick Nolte, is about two brothers competing in mixed martial arts tournament, and their personal equation. It was critically acclaimed, and even got Nick an Academy Awards nomination. Now, the Hollywood studio is looking to enter the Indian market with this film, and is set to remake the film in both Tamil and Hindi simultaneously."

The names of the same are yet to be finalised. It is learnt that the producers are looking for some big names of Kollywood and Bollywood to star in this project. The source adds his comments saying, "They are holding discussions with actors and directors in the top league, and an official announcement will be made soon." The originalWarrior was an American sports drama and was distributed around the world by Hollywood studio.
