Why We’re Killing Gunther Ropes In Arnold Schwarzenegger

Former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger has been roped in for Taran Killam’s ‘Why We’re Killing Gunther’. The action-comedy film will mark the directorial debut of Taran who will also star in the film. He will be sharing screen space with his real life wife Cobie Smulders.

The movie will tell the story of Gunther, the world’s greatest hitman, who is being hunted by a group of international assassins. They find that Gunther is really a master assassin and that he is always one step ahead. Arnold will be returning to the comedy genre after a very long time after his full fledged comedy film ‘Jingle All the Way’, which came out in 1996.

The Terminator actor has also been showing interest in making a sequel to ‘Twins’. The cast for ‘Why We’re Killing Gunther’ also includes Paul Brittain, Bobby Moynihan, Randall Park, Kumail Nanjiani and Ryan Gaul. The movie will be produced by Kim Leadford, Steve Squillante and Ash Sarohia, alongside Taran.
