    Will Smith’s Concussion Trailer Out Now

    Sony Pictures Entertainment has released an official trailer for the forthcoming flick Concussion starring Will Smith. It is a movie about the N.F.L.’s concussion crisis. Concussion is based on a true story of Dr. Bennet Omalu. Will is known for his roles in Pursuit of Happyness, Independence Day and the Men in Black franchise.

    Will Smith plays the role of Dr. Omalu, a Pittsburgh forensic pathologist who first came across a neurodegenerative disease in football players. The repetitive head injuries suffered by the N.F.L. players have far worse consequences than revealed. The disease id called chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and can cause depression, dementia, and other behavioural changes.


    The trailer shows the doctor’s attempts to reveal the truth and the organisations action to stop that from happening. Concussion is written and directed by Peter Landesman and will hit the theatres on December 25. The cast includes Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Alec Baldwin, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Eddie Marsan and Stephen Moyer, along with others.
