Willem Dafoe Might Feature In Thriller The Lighthouse

Hollywood actor Willem Dafoe is in talks to feature in the upcoming thriller The Lighthouse to be directed by The Witch director Robert Eggers. The script of the film has been written by the director himself for New Regency and A24. Moreover, Willem Dafoe had earlier starred in The Florida Project.

Moreover, the actor was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for The Florida Project earlier. Actor Armie Hammer will also be collaborating for the project along with Dafoe. It has been also reported that the actor will be playing the role of the lighthouse keeper named Old. The story of the film is set in the early 20th Century.

Meanwhile, the film is being jointly produced by Rodrigo Teixeira, Lourenço Sant’ Anna from RT Features, Labor’s Jay Van Hoy, and Youree Henley. Further, Dafoe has earlier starred in films like Eat Dog, The Great Wall with Matt Damon, and Murder on the Orient Express.
