Wolverine 3 Update, Lead Villain Revealed

Hugh Jackman’s last appearance as the clawed mutant will have him go against Boyd Holbrook who has been cast as the lead antagonist in the film. Boyd is known for his portrayal of Steve Murphy in the television series Narcos. His character description for Wolverine 3 reads, “a relentless, calculating and intense head of security for a global enterprise who is set against Wolverine”.

Deadline, the outlet that brought the news of Boyd’s casting, has also reported that the movie is expected to go on floors in May. The plot for the film is currently unknown but speculations have pointed towards the Old Man Logan story line. Hugh Jackman teased this info at the San Diego Comic Con 2015.

Wolverine 3 will be directed by James Mangold and will feature Patrick Stewart’s Charles Xavier. The script for the film is written by David James Kelly. It will be released on March 3 next year.
