Work in progress for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon sequel

After a decade plus, the sequel of the Oscar-nominated martial arts blockbuster, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), is ready to go before cameras and will be rolling reels in 2014. It is being reported that Michelle Yeoh will reprise her role as Yu Shu Lien from the first part, which banked around $213.5 million worldwide.

The original Crouching Tiger was an inspiration from a book of Wang Du Lu, and the new version is called Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon II -- The Green Destiny. The script is going to be based on Iron Knight and Silver Vase books. Though Chow-Yun Fat won’t be back after his character’s termination in the first film but Donnie Yen, a martial arts symbol is on board to enact the role of the Silent Wolf.
