Working With Cate Blanchett Was Intimidating: Chris Hemsworth

The upcoming instalment in the Thor franchise, ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, will bring back Chris Hemsworth as the Asgardian god of thunder and will introduce Cate Blanchett as Hela, the goddess of death. This will be the first time the duo will be shooting together and recently, Chris shared that it was quite intimidating to work with the Blue Jasmine actress. He also stated that Cate carries a sort of attitude that is similar to his own.

Talking about shooting alongside the actress, Chris said, “It was wildly intimidating but she is one of my favourite people on the planet. It's nice to meet your heroes and be as good as you'd hoped”. He added, “She's just incredibly wonderful and generous and fun and that was one of the best experiences. She has the same sort of attitude that I like to think I follow, which is just to kind of turn up, do the work, have fun, treat everyone with respect, get on with it”.

Chris also said that when someone is at Cate’s level, there are bound to be some problems but, there is nothing wrong with the actress, which he admires. “It's the Australian way”, he added. Directed by Taika Waititi, ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ will be released on November 3.
