    The World Loses Another Legend, Prince Dies At 57

    The legendary singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and multi-instrumentalist, Prince, passed away on Thursday, April 21. He was found unresponsive in an elevator at Paisley Park Studios. Prince was loved and adored for his prowess in pop, funk, rock, hip hop, R&B, soul, psychedelia, disco and jazz, and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of millions.

    Prince was born in 1958 and passed away at the age of 57. His publicist Yvette Noel-Schure confirmed his death by saying, “It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning”. The paramedics tried to revive him through CPR but got no response. Minnesota, Carver County Sheriff Jim Olson has stated that an autopsy will be performed today.

    Prince was known for her charismatic stage performances and his singing style with several famous tracks including ‘Kiss’, ‘Purple Rain’ and ‘I Wanna Be Your Lover’. His family was left blindsided by the news of his death and have flown to Minnesota for the proceedings. The loss of this extraordinary talent will be deeply mourned.
