    The Fox sequel earned an approximate $20.3 million at the North American box office on Saturday, placing it on a course to end the four-day weekend just north of $78 million. The film was expected to earn $90 million or so at the start of the weekend, but may have been hurt by ordinary reviews. It opened at a huge $100 million overseas last week and is expected to do well again. Directed by Bryan Singer, the Fox film is playing on 4,150 screens and was made on a production budget of $178 million.

    Disney's ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’ is on second spot with a disappointing estimate of $28.1 million for the three-day weekend total and a projected $35.6 million for the four-day count. Sony's The Angry Birds Movie is set for third place with an estimated $18.7 million for the weekend. In its second weekend, the animated film based on the popular android game series has $72 million total in box office.

    Disney's Captain America: Civil War is headed for fourth place with $15 million for the three-day estimate, $19.4 million for the four-day. The film has now earned $376.9 million in North America and $730.1 million overseas, for a worldwide total of $1.107 billion. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Captain America: Civil War cost $250 million to make and now stands as the fourth highest-grossing superhero movie of all-time globally, behind only The Avengers ($1.518 billion), Avengers: Age of Ultron ($1.405 billion), and Iron Man 3 ($1.215 billion).
