Zoolander 2 I am back: Billy Zane

Ben Stiller has confirmed that Titanic star Billy Zane will appear in Zoolander 2. Earlier this morning, in a short clip on Instagram, Zane is dressed as Owen Wilson's character Hansel and Stiller asks him, "Hey Hansel, wouldn't it be cool if Billy Zane was in Zoolander 2?" Zane replies, "Yeah, that'd be great."

 “In the fashion world, if you go away for a year, it’s changed - it just happens so quickly,” Stiller told MTV in 2010. “I think the idea in the beginning of the movie is that it’s 10 years later, and Derek and Hansel are literally forgotten. Nobody remembers who they are, so they have to reinvent themselves.”

The sequel of 2001 comedy smash Zoolander 2 was officially announced last month at Maison Valentino’s runway show during Paris Fashion Week. The film has been shooting in Rome and features the return of Wilson, Christine Taylor and (reportedly) Will Ferrell’s Mugatu, while also introducing characters played by Kristen Wiig and Penelope Cruz, with Cyrus Arnold as Derek Junior. Zoolander 2 is currently in production with a scheduled release date of February 12, 2016.
