Zoolander 2 Teaser Out Now

Paramount Pictures has released a 2 minute teaser for the sequel of the 2001 film Zoolander. The movie starred Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson who played male models Derek Zoolander and Hansel. The movie will bring back the two actors and also add new members to the cast.

The teaser starts with what seems to be Stephen Hawking’s narration, stating how the earth came into existence and the evolution of the human brain. Then the camera focuses on Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) the dimwit model, who says, “If god exists, then why did he create ugly people?” The sequel might have the name 2oolander or Zoolander II, which was also teased in the video as Derek having trouble in making out the pun in the name.

Stiller said, “It’s ten years later and most of it is set in Europe. It’s basically Derek and Hansel ten years later – though the last movie ended on a happy note a lot of things have happened in the meantime. Their lives have changed and they’re not really relevant anymore. It’s a new world for them”, talking about the script of the movie. Zoolander 2 will be released next year.
