Zootopia, Deadpool Still Going Strong

Byron Howard and Rich Moore’s animated flick Zootopia came out on top of this weekend’s box office earnings with its $50 million. This is the movie’s second weekend and the overall gross has become $431 million worldwide. The characters in the film have been voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba and J.K. Simmons.

The recently released 10 Cloverfield Lane grossed $25 million domestically over the weekend. The movie has been directed by Dan Trachtenberg and stars Mary Elizabeth, Winstead, John Goodman and John Gallagher Jr. Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool still holds a position on the top five list, adding another $10.8 million to its overall earnings. The movie has pooled in $708 million worldwide.

The Gerard Butler starrer London Has Fallen came in fourth with its $10.6 million. It has now grossed $38 million worldwide and has been running for two weeks. Tina Fey’s Whiskey Tango Foxtrot was able to pool in $4.6 million, sending its total to $14 million. The cast also includes Margot Robbie, Martin Freeman and Alfred Molina.
