Zootopia Tops Weekend Box Office

The recently released animated flick Zootopia has secured the top spot on the weekend box office list. The movie saw a $73 million opening and has pooled in $232 million worldwide. Zootopia has been directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore.

The Gerard Butler starrer London Has Fallen opened with a slow $21 million weekend. The movie has been directed by Babak Najafi. The Merc with a Mouth Deadpool still retains a place in the top five box office list with $16 million. The movie has now reached $673 million worldwide. Deadpool has been running for four weekends now.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot has opened with a shy $7.6 million. The movie stars Tina Fey, Margot Robbie and Martin Freeman and has been directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. Running on its second weekend, Gods of Egypt has pooled in $5 million and secured the fifth spot on the weekend box office list. The movie has now grossed $72 million.
