It's An Unemotional Move Says Harshvardhan Kapoor On Clashing With Sonam Kapoor At The Box Office

Sonam and Harshvardhan Kapoor, Anil Kapoor’s children, will be battling each other’s film at the box office on June 1. Sonam’s Veere Di Wedding and Harshvardhan’s Bhavesh Joshi Superhero will hit the screens on this Friday.

Harshvardhan says ‘it’s a calculated and unemotional move,’ and ‘the Kapoors will take over that Friday.’

In a conversation with Mid-Day, he said, “While our trailer released on May 2, we didn’t get the film’s music on time. Also, Vikram (Vikramaditya Motwane, director) was still finishing the film. We didn’t expect Parmanu to release on May 25, because the makers were fighting a legal battle. With the IPL ending on May 27, June 1 looked like an ideal date. It’s a cleaner space for two films of distinct genres to release.”

Bhavesh Joshi Superhero marks Harshvardhan’s second outing on the silver screen where he turns social crusader in his fight against corruption. He debuted in Bollywood with Mirzya.

Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is a vigilante drama revolving around a young man’s quest for revenge and the discovery that he is destined for bigger things.
