Abhimanyu Singh, who has previously played many negative roles in the past, is all set to play an anti-hero once again. The actor is gearing up for his Kannada debut, which is to be directed by M. Saravanan. Singh will be seen essaying the role of a manipulative politician in ‘Chakravyuha’, which stars Puneeth Rajkumar in the lead role.

Talking about his role, the actor said in a statement, “My character is a man who comes up in the system through a lot of hard work, but eventually became a manipulative person due to circumstances. He gives the hero a hard time, and affects his life in many ways. There's more than meets the eye with regards to his personality, which has shades of grey”.

About his experience working in South Indian film industry, Abhimanyu said, “The first thing that strikes a person when it comes to southern film industries is the hard work, professionalism and the punctuality that people religiously adhere to. In Bollywood, it is common for shoots to have unexpected delays and go well into the night, but shoot schedules in the south are mostly wrapped up by evening, unless absolutely required. I've also found the quality here to be high due to the immense competition”. Abhimanyu Singh says that he is “curious to see” the response to his role in ‘Chakravyuha’.
