Actor Anirudh Has Turned Director Now

Sandalwood actor Anirudh turns director with a documentary on Bharathi Vishnuvardhan. The actor reveals that he has already made six short films which are currently in the post-production stage. Other than this, he has taken on his first full-length film, a documentary on his mother-in-law Bharathi Vishnuvardhan which is titled as Bala Bangara.

 “My mother-in-law has had a really long and eventful journey in the film industry. She has been here for over five decades and has acted in films in six different languages, which includes the four major South Indian languages, along with Tulu and Hindi too. This documentary will try to showcase the different facets to her, which includes her as the eldest daughter, a sister, friend, player, singer, dancer, actress, superstar, wife, daughter-in-law, mother, grandmother, spiritual guide and social activist,” shares Anirudh.

Anirudh is hoping to get actors and technicians who have worked alongside Bharathi Vishnuvardhan in different films. He wants the people from all the industries to share their memories. Apart from this documentary, Anirudh will soon be teaming up with Bharathi once again for a film titled Myra. The film will kick-start in September.
