Adah Sharma excited about her Sandalwood debut

Adah Sharma who debuted with Telugu film Heart Attack with actor Puri Jagannadh, is all set to enter Sandalwood with Rana Vikrama, opposite Puneeth Rajkumar. "It will be my acid test as I'll be facing a completely new audience. I hope they accept me with open arms. I'm quite excited and eagerly want to know how the Kannada audience would receive me. Nowadays, everything rests in the hands of viewers because they are more intelligent and know what to reject and what not," she said.

Talking about her co-star Puneeth, the actress informed, "There's something very imaginative about the song. I'm sure audiences will love it. Also, Puneeth sir is a great dancer. It wasn't easy to match steps with him." She eloborated, "I don't get nervous about these things. I was very happy. I get nervous only when I'm unprepared. I'm not the kind of person who thinks whether I should do this or not. People think when you work with the likes of Puneeth, you bear more responsibility. But I seriously don't feel that way. I enjoy what I do and that's why it's so much fun. If I start thinking about the burden and responsibility, then I have to worry about proving and it will only mess things up."

Adah Sharma further added that Kannada was not her cup of tea. "I used to mug up lines like a school-going kid on the sets.Pawan (director) and Puneeth sir would laugh about it. They'd ask me to relax and not worry so much about my lines. But I don't like going on sets unprepared," she signed off.
