After A Failed Political Career, Ramya To Make A Comeback To Films

Actress Ramya aka Divya Spandana made her Sandalwood debut in 2003 with Abhi opposite Puneet Rajkumar. They both were seen in several film later and were considered as the best on screen jodi. But, after fighting the Lok Sabha Karnataka elections from Mandya in 2013, the actress bid adieu to films. She won the elections and became the youngest Member of Parliament.

However, the 2014 elections saw her collapsing from her position. And now the actress is back again to films. A little birdie has revealed that the Sandalwood queen might do a cameo in director S Mahendar’s upcoming movie Mahendar Mansalli Mumtaz .

Produced by director Nagashekhar, the flick will have Ganesh playing the lead role. The movie will be a love story which will depict the harmony of Hindu and Muslim religion. The film will start rolling on November 11, which happens to be Nagashekhar’s birthday. Arjun Janya has rendered the music.
