Ambareesh Is All Excited To Play Protagonist In Ambi Ning Vysaitho

Ambareesh needs no introduction in the Kannada film industry or in Karnataka. Apart from being an actor in the Sandalwood industry, he is also media personality and a politician from the state. After playing a supporting role in his last film, Doddmane Hudga, the actor is all set to return to the sets with Ambi Ning Vysaitho.

Ambareesh will play the protagonist in official Kannada remake of Pa Paandi, after a long time. Helmed by youngster Gurudutta Ganiga, the film is being co-directed by Sudeep's nephew Sanchith Sanjeev. In a recent interaction, Sanchith revealed how this idea came to his mind, "This began when we got to spend time with Ambareesh sir with regards to the film. We were new to him and hadn't met him before, so we used to visit him in his residence. These sessions saw him opening up about his journey, experiences and other tales, which was fascinating for us. He is returning to play a full-fledged lead role after years. These stories from him and the anticipation of him in a lead role again was how the idea of this teaser came about".

Talking about how he got Ambareesh on board, Sanchith said, “We heard that it was Ambareesh sir who had called Rajinikanth sir when he saw this film and expressed that he wanted to do the Kannada remake of this. So, when we approached him for the film, he already had his opinions on the story and the essence of particular scenes, hence, it ended up that we had to match up to him and get working immediately".
