Anirudh Jatkar Talks About Recreating Father-in-law For ‘Raja Simha’

Anirudh Jatkar is currently working for his upcoming film ‘Raja Simha’ for which he is hiting the gym regularly. He is aiming for a chiselled look for the film which will not only star Anirudh, but also his father and mother-in-law. The former, late Dr Vishnuvardhan, passed away in 2009 and Anirudh plans on digitally recreating him for the film. His mother in law, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, will be acting alongside the recreated Vishnuvardhan.

Talking about the upcoming film, Anirudh shared, “This film is a sequel to one of his most successful films Simhadriya Simha. I am portraying the role of Narasimhe Gowda’s son from the film, for which I had to look entirely different. It is also special because Appaji (his late father-in-law Dr Vishnuvardhan,) will be created with high-tech computer graphics, and even Bharathi Amma (his mother-in-law) will be acting alongside Appaji after a long gap of over 24 years on the big screen”.

Anirudh also spoke about the most recent film where Vishnuvardhan’s name was used for publicity purpose and said that this time, “the script demands his presence”. The late actor will have a predominant role and his closest friend, Ambareesh, will also be part of the project. ‘Raja Simha’ will be directed by Ravi Varma who will be making his debut.
