Anupam Kher To Make His Kannada Debut With Acharya Arrest?

Anupam Kher is one of the best and finest actors that we have in the country. The actor has not just made us proud with his acting prowess in Bollywood, but has also acted in Hollywood flicks. If things turn out positive, the Naam Shabana actor will make his Sandalwood debut with Kannada movie Acharya Arrest.

The plot of the flick revolves around a real incident which was the controversial murder that took place in Kanchi Peetam in 2004. Seer Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati was arrested in that murder case. If reports are to be believed, Kher has been approached to play the role of Shankaracharya in the flick. 

The flick’s tagline read 'an insult to every Hindu'. The movie will be dubbed in four languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. Directed by Srinivas Raju, the flick will start shooting in October.
