Anupama Gowda’s Upcoming Flick Has A Title Borrowed From An 80s Classic

Actress Anupama Gowda got immense popularity after her stint in Bigg Boss Kannada. She’s now trying her luck in Sandalwood with a few projects in her kitty. Gowda has nearly completed the shoot for her next flick. Interestingly, the film is titled Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu, which has a title borrowed from a classic 80s film.

The borrowed titled was from K Balachander directorial which had featured Suhasini in the lead role.  The movie is about a woman who faces ups and downs in her life. Anupama shared her experience and also told about her character in the movie. She said that the similarity between her film and the old one ends there.

“Of course, this film too has a strong woman protagonist, who I am playing. She works in a garment factory and this film is a simple story about all her struggles and troubles,” said the actress. Anupama added that it was a challenging role as she had to get her body language right.
