Bhamaa Opens Up About Her Role In Next Kannada Film

Bhama is one of the most sought after actress of Mollywood and Sandalwood with over eight films in Kannada. Her last outing in Kannada, Arjuna, didn’t fare well at the box-office and was criticized for not having any new element in the film. However, the actress is hopeful that her next Kannada flick would be different.

The actress is all prepped up for her upcoming flick, Raaga, helmed by P. C. Shekar. The film will shed light upon a love story of two visually impaired people. Other than Bhamaa, the lead actor is Mithra who plays the other blind character.

Talking about the film, she said, "I'd never before played a character with such a disability, but that was not the only reason that drew me to the project. For starters, it is a Shekar film, and having worked with him recently, I know the kind of dedication and passion he has. With Raaga, it was even more intense, because it is a subject that he has been carrying along for over a decade”.

While the soundtrack and score is by Arjun Janya, the cinematography is by S. Vaidi. The film will hit the theatres on 21 April 2017.
