Bharathi Vishnuvardhan On Board For A Tulu Film

Bharathi Vishnuvardhan is a renowned Kannada film industry actress, but has also performed in many different lingual movies. Now, if reports are to be believed, the actress will try her hands on a Tulu film. This will be her debut Tulu film. The Tulu film industry has grown to the level where films are being released simultaneously in Mangalore, Udupi and Mumbai, Bangalore and Gulf countries.

However, the 68-year-old actress is not untouched with Mangaluru as she shot her debut Kannnada film, Love in Bangalore, in Mangaluru. On doing her first Tulu flick, the veteran said, "While I was on the jury for the Bangalore International Film Festival, I had the good fortune of watching several Tulu films. For an industry that is so niche, I was impressed with the quality and themes that Tulu filmmakers conceive. So, when a director from the same industry came all the way to seek my presence in his film, I felt fortunate to be part of his project".

The Sadhu Aur Shaitaan actress also said that the other reason for her to do a Tulu film is that her late husband loved the city and shooting again there would help her in going down the memory lane. The movie is being titled as Amber Caterers. Reports further added that the actress plays an important character in the flick who is the head of the family.
