    Complaint Filed Against Darshan, Puneeth Rajkumar, Upendra?

    As per the latest updates, an advocate in Tamil Nadu has filed a complaint against top Kannada actors in a magistrate court in Coimbatore. These actors are Darshan, Puneeth Rajkumar and Upendra. An organisation fighting for the cause of Tamil Nadu has filed a petition in a court against these actors for allegedly instigating violence against Tamils in Karnataka over the recent Cauvery issue.

    According to the complaint, Darshan, Puneeth Rajkumar and Upendra have provoked Kannadigas to riot against the Supreme Court verdict for Karnataka to release more Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu. The advocate who has filed the complaint wants sedition charge to be slapped against the actors. The complaint is a result of the speech made by these leading Kannada stars at a meeting in Mandya district in Karnataka on September 12.

    The advocate has sought action against Puneeth Rajkumar, Upendra and Darshan Tugudeep under various IPC sections, including 124 (A) (Sedition), 153 (provoking with intent to cause rioting and 153 A (promoting enmity between groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth and language. Moreover, P. Elangovan, founder-president of Tamil Desiya Peramaippu, also filed a plea in the 2nd Judicial Magistrate Court on September 18, Saturday. These Sandalwood actors seem to be in a huge mess.
