Darshan Starrer Viraat’s Release Postponed To January 29?

Kannada box office is at heavy competition as about four to five films are hitting the theatres each week. Darshan's Viraat is slated to release on January 22, along with few other films. The actor says that since he doesn’t want other films to be affected by Viraat, he wants his action flick to release on or after January 29, giving fair choice to all the flicks.

Darshan wrote on one of his social media pages, “I don't want some Kannada Movies to be affected as a result of my movie. This sudden development for Release isn't what I had expected. In the Best interests of other Kannada Movies, I want it to be Released only on/After 29th Jan”.

He continued, “But, Other state Producer C Kalyan is adamant of releasing on 22nd inspite of a song Shoot for 3 Days, which is still pending. When Movie has been delayed for more than 2 years, it won't be an issue if it's postponed by a week. I hope my statement is clear and fine. Please do make a note of it and Support Kannada Producers and Kannada Movies”.
