Dhananjaya: Women Are An Embodiment Of Mother Earth And The Strength Of A Family

Dhananjaya has played tough roles on screen but the actor is a softie and has the utmost respect for women. Dolly, a.k.a. Dhananjaya has shared his views about women and their strengths. And the actor believes that they are an embodiment of Mother Earth and the strength of a family.

The actor has lent his name to a cause that showcased women empowerment and was part of the show Sadaa Nimmondige. “Ravi was a fisherman and the sole breadwinner of his family. However, a recent stroke played havoc with his life and left him relegated to his home. Ravi’s two daughters have now taken over the responsibilities of the household and go fishing after school, sell them in the market and feed the family. However, now they are finding it difficult to manage their education and the treatment of their father,” said Dhananjaya.

This is what encouraged him to be a part of the show and then sold mosambi juice in Basavangudi for a couple of hours. Many people came forward to buy the juice when they got to know the cause and some even paid to get a selfie with the actor. “I felt so gratified to see those two girls doing so much for their family and this act was a tiny drop in the ocean. Girls are a blessing. I hope this proves to people that women are the backbone of a society,” added Dhananjaya.
