Dhanush's First Kannada Production Is Underway

National Award-winning actor Dhanush is making his debut in Kannada as a producer. Dhanush will be joining hands with Savari and Prithvi fame filmmaker Jacob Varghese for this upcoming film. The yet to be titled movie will be helmed by ad filmmaker Islahuddin.

Dhanush has previously rendered the hit track No Problem from Vajrakaya and he is now involving as a producer. It will be a joint production between Dhanush and Jacob. This film will star Operation Alamelamma fame Rishi in the lead. Moreover, the film will also see Shradda Srinath, who has also worked in Operation Alamelamma opposite Rishi.

The makers are prepping for the pre-production phase. As per the rumours, this film is an adaptation of the Tamil film Naanum Rowdy Thaan, which was also produced by Dhanush. Naanum Rowdy Thaan starred Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the lead roles. The film is slated to go on floors by the end of summer tentatively.
