Diganth Talks About Remake Of Malayalam Hit ‘Charlie’

Actor-model Diganth made his acting debut with ‘Miss California’ in 2006. He was recently seen in Tharun Sudhir’s ‘Chowka’ essaying the role of Krishna Rao. The latest we hear about the actor is that he is shooting for the Kannada remake of super hit Malayalam romantic drama ‘Charlie’ (2015).

“We are currently shooting in Chikkamagaluru and will soon head to Mangaluru, before returning to Bengaluru”, Diganth stated, adding, “The original is a brilliant script and I loved it. It is one of the very well-made films I have seen lately and Dulquer Salmaan has done a fabulous job in the original.

The Pancharangi actor added,” Despite having loved the original, I will bring in what I can offer to our version, rather than just aping Dulquer”. Diganth also revealed that a few minor changes have been done to the script.

The Kannada version will star newcomer Latha Hegde opposite Diganth.
