Director Sharat Khadri Talks About ‘Mareyalaare’

Director Sharat Khadri is quite excited as ‘Mareyalaare’ is hitting the screens today. “Mareyalaare is a love story, albeit one with a twist”, he says. The film stars TV actor Thandav opposite Pavitra Belliappa.

About the film, the director said, “The story explores how the hero and heroine get to know each other, and sees their relationship make the progression from friendship to love. The first half may seem like a traditional love story, but there are certain elements that lead up to the climax, which cannot be missed. In fact, the climax may seem totally unexpected”.

He continued, “But audiences will be able to relate to it. That apart, the movie has a message for parents on how to bring up their children, and looks at the challenges that youngsters today face and the means they use to succeed in life. Breezy dialogues that touch on different social issues are likely to click with youngsters”.
