Duniya Vijay's Flick Goes On Floor

Duniya Vijay starrer cottonpete has started after the muhurtha on July 19. The day was chosen as it fell on Guru Pournima and thought it couldn’t get a better day to initiate the movie. It is being directed by Om Prakash Rao and will be produced by B.S. Sudhindra as the pair has previously worked together in several flicks. One of the most popular flicks is Huli, starring Kishore.

The Chanda star will portray the role of Kabbaddi player in the movie. The flick may be Cottonpete, but the shoot will take place on different locations of Bengaluru and the important scenes will be shot in Tamil Nadu. The muhurutha was preponed, which was earlier expected to be on August 12.

Interestingly, the flick was earlier planned with Deadly Star Adithya as lead character and few sequences were also shot. However, it did not work out due to creative differences. The role of lead character will be played by Parul Yadav of Bachchan fame.
