Film Titles On The Streets!

The Kannada film industry is always experimenting with the title of the films. Some names are greatly influenced by wild animals like Tiger while some are after convicted rowdies and anti-social elements. This time once again a film directed by Arun of the Gombegala Love fame has been titled Old Madras Road.

The director said that it was suitable as the content of the film deals with ‘some’ youngsters from North Bengaluru. The film will also feature 15 Africans in crucial roles. Earlier, titles like Majestic, Kalasipalya, etc. These kinds of titles have paved the way for more city areas to come into the glare of publicity.

Moreover, some are also titled as places of notorious fame, like Dandupalya, Kolara and so on. Many titles have also been derived from food like Oggarane Dabbi, Pani Puri, Jilebi, Uppi Huli Khara, Yarige Idly, etc. However, latest titles that follow have literally come onto the streets like Old Madras Road.
