Guru Deshpande Directorial Will See V Ravichandran And Prajwal Devaraj Playing Father-Son

Director Guru Deshpande is on a roll these days. The director has announced his upcoming flick, Raja Maanikya. With this, he also maintained that he will be busy for the next six months. The director has earlier zeroed in on Thackeray but shelved it fearing some controversies.

However, Guru has only changed the title of the film and has restored the original cast of the flick. Reportedly, Prajwal Devaraj and V Ravichandran will star together in the film like they were originally the cast of his now shelved Thackeray. The duo will be playing father-son in Raja Maanikya.

As per the director, "This is going to be a perfect commercial package with action, romance, comedy and an underlying social message. But, the highlight will be the fact that it revolves around the hero, his mother and father. There will be a great emphasis on the father-son bond, which will be between Ravichandran and Prajwal. The mother plays an important character in this family. We are yet to cast someone for that role".
