Here’s Why Puneeth Rajkumar Starred In Anjaniputra

Actor Puneeth Rajkumar, who is considered to be one of the best dancers in the Kannada industry, has many skills to his credit. The actor is all set to be seen in an upcoming film directed by A Harsha, who has choreographed some of the actor’s dance numbers. Moreover, Puneeth’s previous film Raajakumara is said to be the highest-grossing film in Kannada.

According to reports in TOI, the actor revealed why he took up this upcoming film as his next. He said, “When you listen to a story, you should be able to picture yourself in it. The genre of the film does not matter as much as the way the story connects to you does”.

He further added, “If I can see myself in the story at least around 70 to 75 % of the time, I know I am going to be able to carry it off because I can relate to it. Anjaniputra is one such film to which I completely relate to”. The film is the remake of Tamil film Poojai, which starred Vishal in the lead role. Anjaniputra is set to release December 22.
