I Remained Sleepless For Many Nights: Priyanka Rao

Actress Priyanka Rao who easily gets scared from horror tales is all set to play a haunting character in her next. The star admits that she rejected the movie at first, but after the filmmakers approached her again and explained the movie she nodded for the flick. The movie is called Naani and is directed by Sumanth.

The star said, "director Sumanth first approached me with the role just after I had done Dil Rangeela, as he wanted an actress with big, expressive eyes, and thought that I was apt”. Priyanka added by saying, “in a way, Naani is a heroine-oriented film and the story revolves around my character". The talented star will feature in three unique avatars, which would be completely different from one another.

The film is based on a real life incident, which made Priyanka curious and she read some piece on it. Even the research got her frightened while she revealed that the actual alleged haunted bungalow was visited by director and lead star Manish Chandra. She said that there were nights she came back home from shooting and couldn’t sleep.
