Jaggesh taunts Upendra on Twitter

The song ‘No Excuse Me’ from Uppi 2, which is Upendra’s upcoming project, has been interpreted as a dig at top actors of the industry, which include, Shivarajkumar and Yash. Actor Jaggesh is the only one who discussed the matter on a public platform. Not naming the Upendra and his song, Jaggesh tweeted, “One actor has used (Lord) Krishna's words about time, and used it to jibe his contemporary actors in the song. It seems like a diseased mind”.

He wrote in a Facebook post, “In the year 1990, actors were taking Rs 2 lakh remuneration. At that time, I use to work for 300 days. After I met producer Sa Ra Govindu, he requested me to act in serials, to which I agreed. A young team led by RS Gowda and Soorappa Babu were requesting producer Aradhana Srinivas to fund a movie which was to be directed by newcomer Upendra”.

He continued, “Producer Ardhana Srinivas asked the team for my dates for the movie. Soorappa Babu approached me with the story and I agreed to do that movie after finishing pending projects. If I had not accepted the movie, then no one would have made a mark in the pages of the history”.
